Cochin Port Trust (CPT) has been a much sought after gateway for the movement of Indian Seafarers caught up in the COVID -19 Pandemic linked turmoil. We, at Karthas Shipping Solutions is pleased to inform you that during this Covid – 19 outbreak we were the agents for the FIRST crew change operations at Cochin Port Anchorage on 2020 May 15th. Since then, over these past months more than hundred ship calls were done by us only, which included one vessel with all Covid affected crew! We also have disembarked foreign crew at Cochin Port Anchorage for the FIRST time after DG Shipping order. We are so proud and happy that we were instrumental in bringing thousands of crew – including many sick crew -back their sweet home safely during this season.
